What would you do?
Hi, we are scheduled to stay at Hale Lani in November. A forumite left a less than glowing review a few weeks ago citing poor lighting to the lower level bedrooms and a dirty pool. I wrote the rental agency with my concerns but they haven't responded! I am traveling with my Mother and her sister who will be staying in the lower bedrooms so it must be well lit. Also, I have two kids so the pool needs to be clean. How would you handle a management that doesn't repond to my questions?
Thanks for your suggestions!

Flip-Flop & Lulu (where's she been lately) both loved it. I also know of a less than stellar review. Anyway, for the location & the money it was amazing.
The pool was pristine when we stayed (other than a few leaves or flowers falling in from the wind) and even had just been retiled. The downstairs is via a curved stairway off of the parking lot. When we were there it was lit with lights in the ground. We are not talking flood lights but enough light for my 58 year old mother and 5 year old to get back and forth no problem.
The rooms down there don't have the view of the upper two rooms, but they are comfortable and my mom actuallly preferred it down there because it was away from the hubbub. The queen bed was also very comfy. Lots of storage. Clean, new, large bathroom.
I had stayed in the higher end Ambiance before & Hale Lani was not super lux but it definitely had a feeling of warmth and comfort. I felt like I was in someone's true home vs. a rental property. Feel free to pm me if you have more questions or if you want to see my pictures.
