O.k., Girlfriends - do you have this CD????

Last weekend, a girlfriend and I took a weekend trip to Black Mountain, NC. On the way, she popped in a CD. I was blown away. She left it in my car and I have been listening to it everyday after work. Come home, glass of Merlot, out on the back deck and turn on the Boise. Talk about a fun, funky, sexy, relaxing, feel good CD....Corinne Bailey Rue....what an incredible voice. My S/O even loves it....thinking hot tub next!....Does anyone have it and if so, do you love her voice as much as I do?????

She sounds like a cross between Norah Jones and Ericka Baydu

Oops! She is Corrine Bailey Rue. Not Carleigh (thinking about my youngest grand, Carleigh Bailey. Any hoo, you must invest in this CD, I promise, awesome!

I haven't listened to any of her music, but I love Norah Jones. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Hey greyhoundmom. Her last name is actually "Rae" in case anyone's looking for the CD. Her husband committed suicide recently. It was an "accidental" overdose I believe. She was on Oprah one day. Nice voice..
