FLA flights to STT

Post by Kathyzhere »

Hi guys,

I recently found out that starting in September Spirit Air was only doing Sat flights from FLL-STT. Normally that would be okay but I need to get over there on Fri. Has anyone from FL come across any decent fares for next season yet? Doesn't matter if we leave FLL, MIA or TPA. I checked AA and the fares were just a few dollars cheaper than the BOS-STT flights that my family just booked. What's up with that...we're using much less fuel?

FYI for the New England people, my sis-in-law just found an AA flight BOS-STT nonstop in Feb for $334 on cheaptickets which I thought was great considering the fuel prices.

Any info much appreciated!

Enjoy,
Kathy

I have the same info. Spirit is only flying on Saturdays after 9/2. I thought they were doing this for September for hurricane season but they are not renewing the STT schedule at this time for the winter. Gee, another overpaid IDIOT ceo.

Hey Gizzmo,

Where did you see the info about Spirit not renewing their route to STT. I googled but couldn't anything. I hope they continue the STT route as we have enjoyed flying with them.

The wife and I will be in St. Pete this weekend to watch some baseball. We are Angels fans and follow them around a bit. Staying at the Vinoy. Make sure the weather is good for us! Ha!

Benchill, I can tell you that I found
out while trying to book a flight on a Friday.
A popup came up stating that effective Sept ? only flights to STT would be on Saturdays :(

I've found some real decent fares on them, so this is not good news. Thought I'd even try FLL-SJU and then another line over to STT?! I prefer and usually only fly non-stop unless it's impossible.

The weather has been perfect-mid 80's! Just starting the muggies and not a drop of rain in sight.
