If we enjoy going to the North Shore beaches then will staying in Fish Bay be too far of a drive??

Personally, I pick a house that I like and worry about getting to the beach later. There are so many beaches and since you will have to drive to get to it anyway, what is another 5 minutes?

I agree with Xislandgirl. The island isn't that big and the scenery makes any drive go by fast! :)

We have always stayed in the Fish Bay area and getting to the beaches is not a big deal. It was all of 20 minutes today to load up the Jeep, drive to Hawksnest (look at the waves and decide it's too choppy for us this day) and continue on to Maho. 20 minutes might sound like a long commute if you are at home but when you are here, 20 minutes flies by with the views, etc...

No worries.

Missing St. John. As always.
