honeymoon

Post by Marcia (Mrs. Pete) »

Wow. First time for us, in all of these years, to get to Honeymoon beach.

It took some good friends, with a trusty dingy, to make it happen. We intended to see the sunset but the clouds got in the way. It didn't matter though. We had our cocktail hour with appetizers on this deserted beach and it just doesn't get any better than that.

It was lovely. A "must do" for sure!

This is a pretty easy walk from Caneel. Its a very nice spot close to Cruz Bay.

The only downside is that the Caneel guests can get rides here via golf cart. We had a large group with kids and an infant decide they could share our 8 foot square chunk of shade one day. A few pointed glares and comments got them to move 20 foot to another shady spot.

Cheers, RickG
