My first thought was: drive on the left with a beer in my hand.

But, really, my mind never leaves. I plan my vacations 18 months in advance and endanger my relationship with sweet Christine by obsessing on every detail of travel. She put me on a vacation diet - I haven't planned anything for 2009. Officially. That she knows about. Yet.

Cheers, RickG

I feel so SANE now. (Snorkeling in the tub with the goldfish crackers is the BEST yet though!!!) Thought I was the only one who had "reminders" everywhere...my office is turning into a tropical oasis...my coworkers are scared! There are palm and flamingo lights in my office Ficus tree. :D LysaC, I am also addicted to BBW Coconut Lime... take it to the islands everytime I travel. At home, it takes me right back!

We just put up wallpaper that has Caribbean map theme and hung it so St John is right at eye level.

Looking at some ceiling fans out at Lowe's that have palm branches for blades to put in the bedrooms.

Let's see, at home we have CBGR, the SS calendar, the Forum koozies, a albumn full of pictures, the (thanks to Connie) palm tree and a large framed map of the VIs on the living room wall. At work there is the Cruz Bay postcard I mailed last year on the bulliten board, the donkey diner picture my son did for me in the break room, the soggy dollar bar pen/pencil cup, the mouse pad from STJ Spice and then there is my KSEA license plate surrounded by the Id rather be on STJ frame. And then, I check On-Stjohn and the webcam and this fourm several times a day. I email my SOTB sisters and call them on the phone. I am positive some people think Im not quite right. And ya know what? I dont care. :D

Lots of things!
-I come here daily and check the Web cam
-Sometimes go to the "other" forum
-Desktop wallpaper is usually STJ
-Pictures up at work and here in most rooms
-Calendar at work and here
-BBW coconut lime verbada reminds me of STJ
because I wore it there too!
-Talk to SOTB almost daily
-Listen to Kenny C while on treadmill
-Play DVD I have of the USVI/BVI while on treadmill
-Look at albums of pictures from trips

I know there is more, but I can't think of them right now..

Going to Kauai in 2 weeks and am still thinking of STJ more!

I use a map of St John as background wallpaper on my computer at work. Almost everyone who sees my screen asks about it, so I have no choice but to explain... :)

Yep we too are hooked. Needed something around the house to take us back. Finished basement (mostly with our own sweat, blood and tears) and turned it into our St John retreat. 5 wall colors, blues and greens, that mimic the different water colors during the day. Tan frieze carpet for soft sand.

One room is a theater. Made a rockin' picture movie from our trips. Play it on projector screen and we're practically there. Interestingly has same music the bongo boys use for jeep cam. We did ours first...nana na na nana.

Didn't know what to do with a bunch of white doors. Hubby decided to paint mural island scenes on them. One is mostly done and looks super cool. Only 8 more to go. Running on treadmill sure is more cheery now.

Working on a tropical theater name now. Hey, have to work with what we have, we don't have a villa.

what I do...

Before putting on any item of clothing, I always vigorously shake it out, you know, just in case of critters.

On the other hand, I do try to remember that when I'm home, it's okay to flush.

Amen to the photo obsessed!! I am a photographer by trade...so don't think that when my toes hit the sand in 45 days that there won't be 1,000s of photos coming home with me and headed straight for the walls of my home! (Awesome feet and hammock photo...where the heck was that shot...I took a similiar one on my honeymoon. :) )

You GOTTA post a trip report with lots of pics, and a link to your online photo gallery, when you return!

As for the original question, my screen saver is currently a photo of my kids at Hansen Beach. So in between emails, PowerPoint, Word docs, etc., that's what I see. Speaking of which, better get back to work... (Oh the habits of those who work from home! No wonder I'm still doing work email at night!)
