I received this in my email this morning from a friend on island. So, here is the update that people were looking for. While it is sad, I think that it explains a lot.

He walked away Friday, still carrying the bottle of water he had been ignoring all day in favor of his liquor bottle as he lay in front of the web cam drinking all day. He has since been spotted all over town either panhandling, drinking or unconscious. He was setting himself up this morning to panhandle outside the Catholic Church when he fell. The ambulance came and took him away.

SAd! Maybe its one of those 20/20 specials. Last summer a young man was passed out on the beach full sun. His friends were unconcerned and he was getting redder by the second. I threw a towel over him and they the friends didn't even blink.

at first I thought it might had been a dog, but now he is stretched out, so it's definitely a person!

I have been watching the webcam pretty closely and people have been paying attention to him, just not everyone.

Oh my gosh I'm not sure if I should laugh or call 911.
