"Three Hour Tour"

Post by BOATSRUS »

Well, the clock is tickin' and one week from today we will be on our way back to STJ for some much needed limin'...I will be there this time with my S/O... aka "Jackass" ....We usually rent on Oceanrunner w/o a Capt and run around the BVI's ...but this year we are staying longer on STJ and for numerous other reasons that I will not blabber on about, the cost of a boat for a full day plus gas is just not in the cards this year for just 2 people....soooo...we're lookin' to see if anyone wants to split a power boat for the day...we just want to get out on the pond and do some chillin'...we have been pretty much everywhere in the BVI's so we are really flexible as far as agendas go, we just want to end up on Jost for a couple of hours to chill...we like to snorkle, drink, eat and tell lies, ... in no particular order...I'm going to put myself out on a limb here and say that Jorge and Rick G. can vouch for my "character"...(RICK,... DO NOT POST INCRIMINATING PHOTOS OF ME, I still have pass privileges and will come to VA and use those widea$$ feet of mine!!)we will be there the 1-13... we'd like to go sometime between May 5-11 because we have not had a chance to get any sun yet and do not want NORAD to launch a preemptive strike when the white solar flare in the VI's goes off! So...that said who ever is on the rock then maybe we can meet at the BB on the 4th and come up with a plan..."Let the games begin"
I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks than in the drink with a boat on the rocks

We would be interested but we don't quite meet your time frame. We arrive on the 10th and will be going to the BB on the 11th. So we wouldn't be able to go until the 12th, which is the day before you leave.

Brenda,

We'll be booking Lion in da Sun for a day trip that week (either the 12th or the 15th). We have four so we have room from one more couple. Our BVI day usually starts at Foxy's, then try Taboo to see if the bubbly pond is working, then Sandy Spit and on to Soggy/Ivan's etc. If time allows, then Willy T. Our friends haven't been with us in 7 years so they may want to snorkel - if so, we'd do that first thing before Foxy's. If this agenda interests you, let me know.

We'll be at the BB on the 11th, we can always discuss then too.

Talk soon,
NancyB

That sounds like a great itinerary. I've been wanting to see the east end of Jost and also Sandy Spit. Either of those days would work for us. The only thing I planned for sure was The BB :D . Let me know if you are interested in having us join you.

Brenda, Great! I'll book Lion for the 12th. They leave from the National Park dock at 8:30 a.m. We can discuss beer for the ride at the BB on Sunday night. Boat days are always the best days so I'm glad you can join us.

Sounds like a plan. PM me if there is anything we need to discuss. You know, the important stuff like food and drink.

BOATS, Didn't mean to take over your thread, but at least something good came out of it :) .

Yes, BOATS, I apologize for that also and I'm hopeful that you'll find a boat share also. Seems like a lot of us will be on island around the same time. I think a lot of folks don't like to plan but if you catch them at happy hour, you'll get them for the next day or so :)
