Don't forget your sunscreen--a high spf sunscreen, and a camera.
For shopping, check out downtown Charlotte Amelie and/or the Yacht Haven Grande/Havensight area.
Since you are leaving on a Saturday, I would recommend getting to the airport at least 2.5 hours early. The airport can be a zoo on Saturdays and the lines for customs really get backed up.
Have a great trip!

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Lucky you jgee82!
Just an FYI...when there are no ships in port there are VERY few shops open
Crazy I know, last Summer we were kinda shocked to find this out while spending a non-ship morn'n in CA downtown. I guess most of the businesses are interested more in the cruise crowd as opposed to the visitors that are spending their $$$ ALL week.
All 3 shopping areas are close together, so I say try a bit of 'em all...Havensight, downtown and Yacht Haven Grande.
I prefer the North and East end of STT. American Yacht Harbor has a few good places for eats/drinks.
Have a blast
ps actually Sun is a fine day for hanging with the locals @ Magens!
