Live TR ~ Day 1
Pre-face: On this trip there is 4 of us. Me (Bug), my hubby Ed (Mr. Bug), and our friends Pattie & Dickie. We've traveled once before with P & D to Cabo but they are newbies to STJ.
Saturday, April 19th:
It all started with an on-time and uneventful early morning flight (7:40am)out of Philadelphia. We arrived in STT by 11:30am. Our driver Bazile was waiting for us with a big smile and hugs all around. Within a couple of minutes we were at the Natl' Park dock and Dohm's was already waiting on us. D & P couldn't believe the color of the water!
15 minutes later we were on STJ and picking up our rental from Denzel's. We've used them everytrip and have never had a bad experience. This trip is no different so far!
We spoke with Paco from (Carefree) and asked him to meet us at the villa since we wanted to stop for a few items and we knew our way there. He was great and was fine with that. A couple of bottles of rum, a few cases of beer, and a case of water later we were at our villa. Bongo-Bongo.
Let me tell you this, we watched and read everyday as this villa was being built. We dreamed of staying here and today the dream came true. It is a dream because this place is beyond expectations. I am in heaven. Mr. Bug is in his zen and P & D are just overwelmed by it all. Life is good
After too many cocktails(is there a such thing on STJ), P and I weren't going anywhere so the guys were nice enough to go pick-up some Candies B-B-Q. When dinner was gone and a couple waters too, we decided to show D & P around town. We parked at Denzel's and headed to the Beach Bar. They had live music, cold drinks, and a great view. Again, life is good

That villa does look awesome! I bet you are having fun watching your friends see STJ for the first time... what a great trip so far and it's only just begun!
