Water taxi to Jost Van Dyke

Post by nascarfan59 »

We are spending 5/5/07 to 5/15/07 on STJ then 3 nights at the Sea Crest Inn on JVD. Since the ferry only runs Fri thru Sun we need to come up with transportation on Wednesday. Dohms water taxi is an option but $275 ouch! Hoping to find something a little cheaper or be able to share a ride. We do not want to do the 3 ferry hop (plus a taxi ride I think) to get there  Any help will be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike & Becky

I'll be interested to see how the Sea Crest Inn works out. I've never spoken anyone who has stayed there. We usually end up over in White Bay. You'll have a great time on JVD. It's a slower pace.

You can take any of the regular ferries to Tortola/West End and then take the regular ferry to JVD - 7 days a week.

Thanks Rick After your advice a found a better ferry schedule on bvivactions.com and bingo there it is. Only 2 ferries, no taxis, and less than a $100 bucks for the 2 of us.

I know you are leaving the same day we arrive. Our flight arrives @ 2:03PM and if you have a later flight I would like to buy you a Carib at the airport
