American Airlines schedule change
American Airlines schedule change
I was just looking to book my travel from NYC area (JFK) which I have done in the past and find that AA no longer offers a non stop flight to STT?? Anyone know if as next winter comes closer they will add non stop option I checked as far back as Oct 08 and they offered no non stop.
Thanks

I forgot to indicate that we usually travel on weekdays and have not had a problem getting the non stop on AA out of JFK for the past 9 years. Just hoping they will add the non stop on weekdays as time passes and high season gets closer. Stopping in San Juan or Miami usually seems to make something go wrong.

We're using miles to get to STJ in early June. Since you can't book a flight sooner than a year before, we got the flights we wanted 364 days before our departure date. I recently checked just to make sure the flight times didn't change much. Heck, they didn't change the times, the cancelled the flights and never told us! They automatically changed our itinerary from a one stop red eye to an early morning flight with numerous connections - which we couldn't do. It took an act of God to get things straightened out. AA really does suck.

That is terrible! I can't believe that they didn't tell you!SanDiegoMark wrote:We're using miles to get to STJ in early June. I have checked our schedule with Delta and it changed a bit. I need to make sure that the rest of our group is checking their flights. We have a few flying AA. Thanks for the heads up.

that sucks mark....AA moved our flight's around and included a 8 hr lay over..we called, and within a 7 minute conversation got our flight rebooked from a two stop flight (from; LAX to MIA to SJ to STT) to a one stop flight (LAX to JFK to STT) so my experience was totally different. We were super happy w/the way AA treated us, and i'm sorry you feel othewirse. AA doesn't "tell" you because they figure you will check via your reservation # ( lame i know but pretty clever).SanDiegoMark wrote:We're using miles to get to STJ in early June. We live in NJ but we will go into JFK the night before, stay at the airport hotel and take #655 direct to STT on Thur 5/15. So far so good, but let me tell you that 8 months out they had no first class frequent flyer seats. We had to use miles and pay some $$$$$. Stinks, but is our yearly splurge that we don't usually pay for so we look forward to first class seats.
