A bird just flew over and ...

Post by Kentuckygirl »

Yes! It's finally pretty outside and I'm sitting on the deck with my laptop. A bird just flew over ahead and dropped it on the screen! .... not kidding.

I would be lying if I did not tell you that I chuckled when I read that.

But that is just one of the reasons that I do not like birds.

I know... I don't like them either! Plus, I just got this laptop this morning. I guess I should be thankful that it landed on the screen. (and that it wasn't a buzzard  )

Well, you could be optimistic and think about the old wives tale that says when bird droppings land on you it means good luck is coming your way. I don't quite know how to interpret it landing on the laptop though...maybe you should play some online poker??
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Hey Tom!
The drive isn't bad. It is pretty much straight down I71. Allow yourself about 1 1/2 hours to be safe. It probably won't take that long. The Cincinnati airport is in northern Kentucky.
When are you coming down? The Derby is the first weekend of May. Will you be here then?
