In Cruz Bay:
Ronnie's Pizza--I love their pizza; very economical. They even deliver now I think but we always just stop by on our way to or from something and grab it. They're in the Boulon Center.

Candie's BBQ--she cooks out of a trailer parked right before you get to Starfish Market. I think as good as Joe's BBQ & a lot more convenient. We order, then run up to Starfish or Chelsea Drugs for whatever we need, come back, and it's ready.

There's a new restaurant that seems very reasonable that I really want to try next time we're there. It's a local woman & the place is past Pastory Gardens. It's called WindyLevel or something like that. I know how to get to it; I just can't remember it's name. Someone here will know what I'm talking about.

You can get a lot of good food for cheap by just picking up items at the deli counter in Starfish Market. All the meals come with either 2 or 3 sides which they serve generously.

Have fun!

oops, forgot to mention Pastory Gardens (more expensive than the other 4 I mentioned but more reasonable than some of the previous posted restaurants and many others).

Also I think Sosa's is quite inexpensive but I've not yet personally been there. Maybe someone else here has?

Finally, if you can't get in to Connections to print off your Boarding passes, you can do so at any of the many other web places on island, such as Surf da Web, Every Ting (unless it no longer has computers & printer since they moved); I know you can get online at Quiet Mon & the Pub place owned by the Virgin Island Pale Ale guys; dk if either of them have printers.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I wrote them all down. I will post a report when we get back and let you all know how things went. Thanks again.

Between work project deadlines and health problems, I've missed a bunch of the 'on st-john' postings as well as those here so thanks Ruth for helping to get me 'caught up' on real life  Who would have thought that Lindy was a mega landlord, huh? I have to concur with Jeff though, I love all the local fixtures unless they spit on me

BTW, we used to always run into a local gentlemen with a very dignified bearing who liked to frequent Trunk Bay the same time of day we did (around sunset). He was always eating some kind of meal out of an old Folgers coffee can (could have been a new coffee can each night for all I knew, what with the salty island air they probably corrode in an instant!) Do you by any chance know who that is/was??

St. John Lover,
I don't know who that was, but perhaps someone else here might know.
