Stone Terrace Closing

Post by snorkelqueen »

Say it ain't so......I saw somewhere that Stone Terrace is closing this month. This is our favorite place for great lamb, good service and really excellent wine. We have had bad luck at ZOZOS and go to The Balcony alot so now we wonder where we will go for that really "special" dinner when we are on-island in July...Any sugguestions???

Closing on the 13th or 16th depending on who you talk to. It may or may not reopen.

My vote is La Tapa (they have great wine too! They had a Schug Chardonnay which was a great value and is on the Wine Spectator top picks).

We loved Asolare. I thnk after all the great things we heard about Stone Terrace perhaps we were expecting too much, I was a little disappointed in the food but the caribbean cosmos at the bar were delightful!!!! We had wonderful food and service at Asolare and you cannot beat the view..IMHO

Try Waterfront Bistro for lamb - I have been told it is excellent - all reports are of excellent food. We ate app's only and they were very good :)
