Parade Traffic

We will be landing at Stt airport abt 1:15 sat April 26. Will we still be able to make it to Red Hook for the 3 p.m. ferry? The adult parade is sched for 12 noon.

I'd hate to speculate, but if you have the driver take u\you up Skyline Drive instead of through town, you might make it, depending on all the other factors: Luggage time, waiting to fill up the van, maybe the driver has to visit his cousin and drop off a pair of sunglasses, other stops along the way, and all the other traffic that will be trying to avoid downtown.

If you have the inclination and the means, look into a private taxi if you absolutely MUST make the 3 boat. Otherwise, grab a rum punch (only 1 allowed!), maybe a beer for the ride, and enjoy the fracas.
