That's bigger than we saw for the swell in October 2004. Its fun to lime at Sebastians and watch the surfers.

And, flash video embedding? Did you use a special tag or just embed the code?

Cheers, Rick

Rick - I just copied and pasted the embed code and it played in preview and after submit. I notice that the audio (Tubular Bells) is now playing in the back ground as I type this.

This looks like a new forum feature, it did NOT work before. I just added the embeds for videos in my November trip report and it worked fine. Good stuff.

I love this video! Amazing swells! Some nice long rides! Seeing people riding the waves gives you a better idea of scale of the waves. I am also hearing Tubular Bells while I type. What a trip!

Tubular Bells... just listening to the soundtrack of that locally filmed movie makes my palms sweat. And looking at those waves makes my heart pound! Awsome power and speed.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

That is just NUTS!!! And those are some serious surfers. I've never seen waves like that there. It's hard to imagine. I wonder if the camera was on the beach or further out or maybe a telephoto. It would seem like those waves would totally overwhelm the beach and go over the road. Were they far out?

Wow, that looks like Hawaii! Those guys are brave. No way would I be getting in the water with waves like that.
