luggage locks

Post by cinnyb »

This question will probably show what an inexperienced traveller I am. Do you need special TSA locks for your luggage and if so where do you get them? I'd love to do just carry on, but that won't work this time. If you can think of any helpful tips for the airport I'd appreciate it. We hardly ever fly. I know luggage requirements. Thank you.

I actually bought these locks at AAA but I'm hesitant to use them. My husband doesn't have the greatest trust in the security guys and thinks they'll just break into the sutecase if they want to check the contents. Has anyone ever used them and do the TSA guys really use keys to open them if they need to or just break them?

Thanks :)

I have used them ever since the law changed and have never had one cut off. I know TSA inspected them because they always leave me a little note inside.
