Island Time Villa-Devers Bay

Post by turtlegirl »

Has anyone stayed at Island Time on Devers Bay recently? I can't find any reviews on it. Looks nice and close to water but may be very close to other villas...also may be extra buggy as it is so close to the water? Thank you!

Island Time is not right on the beach - it is up at the top of the hill (Mampoo Rd) above the villas that are right on the beach (Sunset Beach, Dream Come True and Vida De Mar)

Devers Bay is a great location, and Island Time is nice, although it is an older villa. You don't need to worry about bugs or being too close to other villas - they are far enough away and landscaped well, so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The bugs are no worse there than anywhere else.

Island Time is a good spot and a good price. I particularly like the point its on and the snorkel right down below along the rocks (waterguy likes this one too). The last picture on the CV listing has those lovely rocks in the right of the frame.

Before this was a rental, the owners put string down on the beach with a "Private" sign. It's the only sandy entrance into Devers Bay. Devers Bay has great night snorkeling as well. We stopped staying at Sunset Beach because of No-See-Ums at dawn and dusk, but this villa is 45 feet up on the cliff and is more exposed to winds.

Stay here? I would.

Here's a shot showing Sunset Beach on the right and Island Time on the left. There's a house in the middle now.
