Will there be noise?

Post by arenee »

We are in the process of finalizing our rental of Villa Virtuoso and it just dawned on me there could be construction noise. Can anyone tell me if they have ever stayed at or near Virtuoso? I have been told it isn't far from Cruz Views. Any input would be great.

I should have been a little more specific. Is La Sirenusa near Cruz Views? I know there is construction noise just about any where now on St. John but I was more worried about this huge project. We won't be going until March 2009 so it may even be finished by then????

I think you are talking about Villa Venturoso? Yes, this villa is very near Cruz Views... which is also very near the large Sirenusa project.

I couldn't say if the project would be completed by March 2009 or not... but yes, there is currently construction happening. We have been told that the noisiest part is over. It usually is not active every day. There is no way of knowing how loud it would be, but if it's happening it's usually done by 4pm.

Just got back from staying at Cruz Views, where the Sirenusa project loomed in the near distance. Little to no noise at all. Hardly looked like any work was being done....
