Ritz Carlton beach-HELP!!

Post by hlsess »

our friends are staying here and have invited us over for the day and I really hate to leave STJ- but they REALLY want us to come- we have a tour with Pam planned on that day but we may skip snub and go over for a few hours on a different day- what is it like at the Ritz - would the kids have fun?

The pool is amazing. I couldn't get my daughter out of it. There is a little sprinkler part as well that she loved running through. There were plenty of noodles for the kids.

The beach is right down below the pool and is perfectly adequate. You can see all the way to STJ from there. There was a watersports shack as well.

The day we were there we were the only people at the pool. Very quiet and tranquil.

FlipFlop is the Ritz queen! I thought that beach belonged to the condos? How long is the walk from the Ritz?

Nope the condos are off to the right when you are facing STJ. (Don't you think all directions should be given relative to the location of St. John) You see them - and they call them Residences :) - in the first pic.

The pool is right above the beach and there is a little board walk down to that area.

This is a really bad picture (lens was foggy) but it is from our balcony down to the beach/pool area. Basically you walk out of the building and down a path and you are at the pool.

We stayed at the club residences a couple of years ago and loved it. The beach and pool are very nice, there is also a bar/restaurant right at the beach for drinks or snack. Service was incredible. I would go check it out!! I think you will have fun.
