Marina Market is across the street from the Red Hook terminal. If you are leaving from Charlotte Amalie then there is a Publix grocery store near the international ferry dock. The bar/restaurant upstairs at the international dock had food local food the last time we we were there.

Where are you staying on JVD? They should be able to arrange provisioning. Bobbi's and The Ample Hamper in West End Tortola are great. If you are doing White Bay Villas Mary usually meets folks at the Red Hook terminal and can supply a cooler of food.

Another option is bringing frozen food in a cooler that you check as luggage.

Perfect Pineapple is great and Olga and Gregory are real good people (if Greg is still going out with Olga!). Gregory is one of Foxy Callwood's sons by Gertrude. We stayed with Gertrude in 2004.

Pia, I guess you're right, its Pueblo. Never been there but have driven by. If you are going to JVD via Tortola West End you can hit Bobbi's or Ample Hamper. Check their web sites, they do provisioning and will box things up for you. They may even drop it off at the ferry dock.

Keep in mind that you will have to pay tax to British Customs on the food you bring in but well worth it. The two small grocery stores on JVD have the combined total square footage of Barbie's Dream House. :D

And no Miller Lite on the island, but loved every minute of our stay.

Closest recommended store would be Gourmet Gallery in Crown Bay. You may need a second cab to get there or a private cab from the airport to stop for you on the way.
