Villa Help

Post by Chris »

I'm considering these three villas for Oct or Nov but can't find a villa review on any of them. However, I'm pretty sure I've seen each of them mentioned in trip reports. So, if you stayed at any of these and posted a trip report I would really appreciate you giving me the date of the post so I can check it out. Thanks much!
The three villas are: 1) Rendezview, 2) Acqua Blu, 3) Sol Inclination.

We are staying at Acqua Blue in June and are really excited. I love reading their blog as the owners post new pictures of their place. It gets better and better each time I see it. Sol Inclination was also on our short list.

Just stayed at Rendezview the first week of February. Beautiful villa, breezes were quite strong but definitely kept away the bugs. The oven was not working when we were there, be sure to ask about that prior to booking....I am going to try to post links to my trip report, hope it works as I've never tried to post links before...you can PM me if you have questions as well.

Depends on your group, but when I inquired about Acqua Blu I was told it probably wouldn't be a good fit for us. We are traveling with a little kid (2.5 at the time of the trip).

We are staying at Sol Inclination in May. I can hardly wait! I've only seen good things in regards to this villa. I'm going to see if there is a way I can forward you a couple of the PM reports I've received. I'll do a report when we return.

We stayed at Sol Inclination for a week last November and the place is drop dead gorgeous. The wonderful views and wonderful decor do outweigh the inconvenience of being at the very top of the world in Fish Bay.
Although the house is well suited for 4 couples, the parking area at the top near the main house will only accommodate 2 jeeps and others will have to park at the bottom below the guest house. The two couples who stayed in the comparable master bedrroms in the main house said that the insulation in the wall between the bedrooms was a little less than satisfactory, yet the insulation between the two bedrooms in the guest house where we stayed was fine. The furnishings, both indoor and outdoor, were very upscale and we had no problem with bugs up there.
The only real downside woulld be for those who want to chill out around the pool. It is actually carved into the hill so there is no place to sit or lie around it- only above and below..
The views from the jacuzzi were to die for. We loved the place.
