Joe's Rum Hut purchased the Panini lease and is expanding it out a bit so it is more open and more on the beach.

Paradiso (incidentally, not Paradisio) has changed from an expensive restaurant to a moderate restaurant to a medium-expensive restaurant. Kind of searching for an identity.

Ocean Grill is wonderful. A little pricey, but a good place.

We ate at The Stone Terrace a few weeks ago and it was excellent....well done in every way, quite pricey, but worth it.

The Waterfront Bistro has just opened in the former Panini Beach location. Early buzz is very positive, and the restaurant is certainly beautiful - and a bit pricey. As for the other restaurants you mention, find out what people have been saying about them at the St. John Dining blog: http://diningstjohn.blogspot.com/
