Off topic - Tortola beach recommendations
Okay helpful people,
Will have a day on Tortola in two weeks during our spring break cruise. What do you all recommend for a beach that's got snorkeling, nice sand and maybe a restaurant or bar available? I haven't been there in years and stayed at the Sugar Mill that time.
Thanks in advance,
SteveO.

I love Brewers Bay; it's the big bay to the North of Cane Garden Bay. There's a beach bar on the left side and serious snorkeling, especially if you are a strong swimmer. If its been raining it might get murky.
Smugglers Cove is a standard recommendation, but since they graded the road they started taking cruise ship passengers. Not good.

Ja, check out the google map link, the reef is quite visible close to shore. There's not much boat traffic, if any. I like to swim out along the frining reef and then cross the bay over the deeper water. I usually seem some larger fast swimmers go by.steveo2916 wrote:Thanks for the suggestion. Is there also snorkeling close to shore for the kids?
