Time again for What does your forum name mean?

Post by Xislandgirl »

It has been a while since we have done this and there are quite a few new forumites, so what does it mean?

Mine is simple:

I used to live on STJ, so X Islandgirl

I live on the 17th hole of a golf course.

Anjebear stands for Andrea Jean (my name) and Bear is my husband's nickname. His real name is William.

One of the many nicknames my husband has given me - and it's one of the very few that can actually be found in a dictionary. Others are made-up words that just sound funny.

Back in the day, on the old AOL board, Marcia and I used to post different trip reports, of the same trip. She would give her perspective, and I would give mine.

We adopted our "board names" so that readers could tell from whom the reports were coming. We were too lazy to change them.

My actual name! My usual forum type name is Ivoryrabbit. Ivoryrabbit came about when I was trying to establish a screen name on AOL years ago. It seemed like everything I tried to use was taken. I had a pic of myself on my desk, taken in Key West, wearing an ivory rabbit on a chain around my neck. Rabbit was already a "real life" nickname, so it worked, and I've been using it every since!

I'd like to say that I was a folk singer with the initials but .... nah, they're just my initials.

I can't remember. My love is NoTanLines because, well, there aren't any.

Apparently RickG and I have the same level of creativity when it comes to dreaming up a forum name....

On our first trip to STJ, 2006, we learned how to snorkle on the most incredibly beautiful bay.Islandgirl and her hub, CruzinChris showed us how to "live" STJ. Maho Bay turned into Mahobayb (babe). The ticker is lookin good :D

Not much creativity here...Kathyzhere is "kathy is here" I guess some have mistaken the z as the 1st letter of my last name.
I'd much rather be aka island girl or even Xisland girl!
