Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Blue Skies Villa on Great Cruz Bay road. My group for our November trip has fallen in love with this villa, and the only review I saw was from 2001, although it was a GREAT review.
(Searching for blue skies on here turns up anytime folks say the phrase, and while I read lots of great trip reports, none were about this villa!)
Anyhow, any opinions on this place would be appreciated. Also, has anyone booked directly from an owner rather than using their on-island company. There seems to be a price difference in doing this (although in this case it didn't seem to be a favorable one), but I just wasn't sure how all that works, because I've always gone through a company before. The owners do seem quite lovely, though.

We booked Great Expectations directly through the owner last year. Very easy, no problems at all, and I think we did get a discount as well. They had an on-island management company who greeted us and showed us around and could also call if we had maintenance problems. Overall, a positive experience.
