Thanks for the link to the pictures. They are fantastic! A strange thing happened though. I clicked the link, viewed all of the pics, then closed the link ... voila, your pictures suddenly appeared in your report, on my computer. I've never had it happen like that before. :?

Well...however it has worked I am glad that something made it all click! I am sure it makes sense to someone out there but not me!

Thanks for all the nice comments, I truly appreciate them. I am genuinely thrilled to be able to share the photos more than anything else.

I did realize I forgot to mention that we had a breakfast at JJ's texas coast cafe that was very good...think it was a breakfast burrito, along w/ a couple bloody marys. It was our first time there and we would definitely go back again. While we were there we met a couple that lives very close to us, about 10 miles away. I told her about this forum and hope she has found us. Are you in lurk mode?

Thanks for the wonderful trip report and all beautiful pictures.

The same thing with the pictures happend also to me. After I opened your link, I could see all your photos in the reports.

The room you had at Caneel looked really wonderful. And I think you did fill your trip with a lot of nice activities. Glad you enjoyed your trip, after what you had to go through.

We arrived on a Sunday later in the day but we both remember seeing some info that they do have a Sunday Brunch.

Anyway's... the long awaited pics... WOW! awesome pics, I love looking at pics. Did I say wow?! I really like the close up/macro shots of the cacti, and the donkies nostril!
Thanks for sharing! Oh and also liked the younger pic of yourselves! That Jaws shirt is classic! Do you still have that? You could probably Ebay that sucker for 100 bucks!

Thank you for the pics. I so much enjoy to see them. We also found the petroglyphs very interesting.

Dave you are the first to comment on the "JAWS" shirt...yep, it's a classic for sure. I don't think that survived but it is funny that our 22 yr old son likes to go "shopping" in our attic thru his Dad's old clothes...he has found some classics that did survive and he wears them proudly. Can you tell they are BOTH just a little wacky in the best way?!

Also...I am just discovering "macro" photos and got quite carried away w/ them....I took hundreds of pix and you all got to see a small sampling.

AS far as the magical photos appearing I am now certain my husband had a hand in that...he is my computer guru and I just ask and he delivers...could be why they have taken such a circuitous route to get to you all!

So glad so many of you are enjoying the phots once you finally get them!
