Webshots has been down for two days. Does anyone know what's up? I saw they had scheduled maintenance on 1/31. This may be enough for me to change services. I actually pay for Webshots!!

It must be a bizarre Verison FIOS problem. I'll try it at work.
When I view any message with webshots images we get no joy.

It looks like a local network problem. From streadfast.net I can traceroute
www.webshots.com who's canonical name is dc3-ws-www-lb.ws.ag.com with address 66.119.43.30. From my node on washdc.fios.verizon.net I get no love. For an address in the Savvis Sterling data center 20 miles from my house.
How weird is that?
I guess there's a good Super Bowl going in Verizon Net Ops today.

Wha....???? Rick, speak English. How can I appreciate how weird things are when the language you are speaking is pretty weird.
Plain English now.......what was/is the problem? I get nervous when someone says FIOS is not working properly...

I put in a trouble ticket with Verizon FIOS. In plain English: I can't get there form here, but I can get there from somewhere else. It looks like a router problem.

Ahhh, thanks Rick! Is that a router problem on your end or their end?

It lives! It looks like it was a NoVA router issue. All is well.
