How do you get to the Virgin Grand Estates?

Can someone tell me how you get to the Virgin Grand Estates? Is it a hard drive? (trying to plan a family trip with newbies, that are, well, not good travelers, and saw some great houses there, but don't want a difficult drive)

It's not a difficult drive (compared to some of the villas here

) but the road has a few very sharp, steep hairpin turns and currently has a few (OK more than a few

) large pot holes in it (OK again I lie - the size of my car

)

You enter VGE by car from the Gifft Hill Road - past the Westin about 5 more mins or so.

Thanks Pia and Jorge! I thought it was off Gifft Hill Road, but wasn't sure if there was a way to acess those villas from the Westin...

you could also get there via Centerline if you didn't want to go up Gifft Hill from South Shore.

There is a road cut up from the westin but the westin shut it down they didn't want all the traffic thruogh there

We came in off Centreline and it wasn't real bad, just take it easy. Potholes weren't bad at all, they supposedly fixed some of them up recently. Someone in our group just drove up Gifft Hill Road from the south side and said the drive in from Centreline is a lot easier (just a little longer).

WE'RE HERE RIGHT NOW AND LOVING IT!!

Uncle Joe's takeout at the villa last night and Miss Lucy's for brunch today ... this is an incredible place!!

Stampede Chuck, I love live trip reports! Glad you loved Miss Lucy's - its such a great spot. Have an amazing week - I know you will! Where did you watch Super Bowl? How do you love your villa?

Sorry I didn't get back to you Nancy_B, but we're back in Canada now. We didn't watch the Super Bowl but listened when we got back to the villa. Not a fan of either team, so was actually pulling for the underdog.

Villa South Palm was incredible!! It was better than the pictures on the website and was bigger than we thought it would be. The pool was perfect, the sunsets beautiful, and everything else about the place was all we could have asked for. We'll be trying to book it again for our next trip to St John.
