Anything Going On At Ditleff?
Anything Going On At Ditleff?
Anything under construction out there? Are they even working on the road? I'd like to sneek down to the beach when we're there in March .

According to the website http://www.ditleffpoint.com/ at least 3 lots have been sold. Many are still available, starting at only $895,000, so Forumites, opportunity is knocking!
It doesn’t look like they’ve started to build any houses yet and we didn’t see any construction going on the whole week we were there. That was 3 weeks ago, so maybe things have changed. It looks like the main road is all finished.
To get to Ditleff, take the road past the Westin. Where route 104 takes a sharp left there is a Dead End sign. Ignore the sign and continue on for about a half mile. There is a very steep concrete section with a switchback. On the right is a sign that says Klein Bay Road. Just a little past that sign on the right is a new stone gate and wall. Go through the gate. Continue on until you get to the bottom of the first hill. There are some new steps to the right leading to the beach on the Rendezvous Bay side. Park there and take the steps to the beach. The best snorkeling is to the left. You have to swim a ways past the sandy shelf to get to the coral. We probably saw more fish there than anywhere else we snorkeled.
