Then: Rash guard to prevent sunburn

Then: The walk from Drunk Bay to Salt Pond



Now: The walk to school



Then: Snow sign near Hurricane Hole



Now: I don't need a sign; I just have to look out the window. Sigh...

Then it was always 5 o'clock.
Now I'm always watching the clock.

Then it was painkillers over ice knocking me on my butt.
Now it's killer pain on the ice as I fall on my butt.

Then it was sun on my face and sand under my toes.
Now the sun is noplace and my toes are froze.

I'm a summer/beach kind of girl. It's in the 30's today in Dallas & it's too cold for me!

Ja, Sweet Christine whinges about the cold, I whinge about not getting enough skiing in.

My perfect vacation would be a week in Summit County followed a week on STJ.

We head out to Deep Creek Maryland in February for some winter fun. NoTanLines watches the Indy 500 in the hot tub while I ski on a tiny icy hill.

If it's going to be cold anyway, I love the snow. And this morning was beautiful! But ask me again if we get a blizzard in March or April, and I won't be so happy about it.

It's mixing rain and snow here right now. I would complain, but what's the use? I know I am looking at two and a half more months of this lousy weather. It's my fault for not moving to California when I had the chance.

Thats why I live in AZ. I'm going to STJ in June to get away from the heat in the desert.
