USVI/BVI photos from our St John Trip

Post by salamander »

Thanks for all the help from this forum. We got a lot of useful tips here.

Jan 3 - Jan 10 was when we were there and it was our first visit. Weather was perfect except for Sunday when it rained a lot but that was the day we went shopping to St Thomas..

We stayed in Coral bay at a 2 bedroom villa overlooking the bay.

I will post a somewhat detailed report later.

Meanwhile here is a link to our photos for St. John, St Thomas and Virgin Gorda/Baths..

Salamander, you photos are fantastic! I viewed them all as a slide show as you suggested. You have helped inspire me to take better pictures, like so many others on this forum have. Thanks for sharing them :D

Great pictures from a great vacation, I'm sure.

thanks for the compliments, but its such a beautiful place that good photos are almost guaranteed!

I used my Nikon Coolpix 4500 which is not anything really fancy. I used the Olympus Stylus 790 for the underwater stuff in 5 feet of water. I can't swim, so could not snorkel any deeper ..

Salamander, I so much enjoy sunset and sunrise photos, and yours are just fantastic!
I’m looking forward to read your trip report. We never succeeded in finding Mountain Top on STT
- were short of time and had problems with navigating there.
