Honeymoon suggestions

Post by CruzBayB »

My daughter and her husband to be are looking at STJ as a possible honeymoon destination and although I've enjoyed Gallow's Point in the past, they are looking for something not quite as expensive. They really want to come and need somewhat special surroundings since it's a honeymoon but without the Caneel or Gallow's price tag. Any tips on someplace that would feel nice enough for a honeymoon but on a budget??? (PS I'm not a Westin fan and would prefer within walking distance of Cruz Bay... I know... I'm picky)

I'm hoping this is off-season. Honey Moon Cottage over near Francis Bay was looking like a good deal.

Sorry guys, I guess i thought you could read my mind... The wedding is June 7, 2008 so that is the week they are looking for. I have thought about Crow's Nest that is in Cruz Bay... easy access for first timers but wondered if it would be noisy. The pictures look very nice but no pool or hot tub of course. Seems like there was also a small place or two up the hill around where Chilly Billy's is but I can't remember the name, also very reasonable.

Far Horizons would fit the bill. Give Anna a call.

Might want to look at Snails Pace or Sail View.

Wow, Steve, Far Horizons looks incredible for the price. I'm not familar with Francis Bay are you? Also, what is the apartment attached to? A Villa? Just curious if it's near others or isolated... thinking safety. Have you stayed there or been there? What is the rest of the villa like? Sorry, I'm just full of questions because the price is great.

CruzBayB,
Far Horizons is in FRANK BAY,, near Star Villas, Villa Caribe condos and Battery Hill. It is a very good value and conventient to town.
