Cool gadget from the Consumer Electronics Show
How long before Vicki starts sending us photos while snorkeling?
"High on the list of gadgets that Ill be checking out/donning for comedy video purposes is this Digital Underwater Camera/Mask from Liquid Image. A genius idea it is basically a five mega pixel digital camera shoehorned into a groovy looking swimming mask. The idea being that while you are swimming you can just click away without having to hold a camera.
"To take a snap the user lines up marks on the mask, presses a button and then the image is then stored on its 16MB ram of internal memory or a Micro SD card. It can also shoot video and works up to depths of 15 metres.
"It goes on sale in the US any moment now for $99 and the company says that European distribution will follow in the spring."
