Photography classes with Steve Simonsen

Post by liamsaunt »

In the latest edition of the St. John Tradewinds, I noticed that Steve Simonsen has announced that he is going to hold photography workshops year round. It looks like he is going to have four-hour workshops at a cost of $45 for both above ground and underwater photography. I think this sounds really interesting and fun and thought some of my other forum friends might like to check it out too. Here's a link to the article:

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Very nice, I imagine he could cover a lot in the four intro class.

Let's see:

1) Keep the horizon horizontal

2) Move closer to your subject, fill the frame

3) Take your finger off of the flash

If I could remember to do those things I'd get better fast.

Cheers, RickG

Hey Rick...got my UW housing for my CSD850is in the mail last week! Loved the SD450 underwater...can't wait to check out the 850! So far...the "land" shots from the 850 smoke the 450! Hope to catch you at the Beach Bar a time or two!
