Back from paradise

Post by RickG »

We got back home late last night. Travels went smooth enough. I've got my underwater picture gallery setup at http://community.webshots.com/album/556039964ChaNdY. I'm happy with the Canon-made enclosure for my Canon S410. I think I need more practice!

As soon as I get my land pictures setup in a gallery I'll work through my trip reports

Preview: St. John is still paradise! More to come.

Cheers, RickG

Great underwater shots, thank you for sharing. Especially love the jelly fish pictures; do see too many of those pictures posted.

Looking forward to a more detail account of our trip and your above water pictures.

Welcome back Rick. My dumb but work server blocks me from where you posted the pictures. Ah – gives me something to look forward to when I get home. Can’t wait to hear about your trip. You spend months – weeks – days – hours waiting to get there and in a blink – your back home. Can’t wait to see the pictures.

Welcome home Rick and crew! I am eager, as well, to hear about your trip.. The real time reports were just a teaser I'm sure!

I enjoyed your pictures and it makes me eager to try out my underwater housing for the first time in January. Thanks so much for sharing.

Trip with 22

Post by New England »

I won't say too much as I am sure Rick's trip report will be great. Rick G and Chris G are my brothers and we were there with them, their children and Rick's girlfriend Christine, our parents, my husband's parents and my husband's two sisters and their spouses and children. We had a total of 9 kids from age two to fifteen.

We had such a wonderful time! This was my thrid visit to St John, but my second time staying on the island. This trip was special since we had so much family with us and my kids had both sets of grandparents, cousins and aunts and uncles.

The weather was perfect, the drinks were cold and everyone played nicely!! We are all so lucky to have such a great family. I went back to work today and had a smile on my face as I played back scenes through my mind.
