For Flip Flop...

Post by Ron_L »

My wife made a birthday cake for KK's 19th birthday. I though you would appreciate it...

Yeah... I'm still alive and lurking. My travel schedule was nuts at the end of last year. I did 25,000 miles from Oct - December and it's starting Up again. Toronto on Sunday and then San Diego the week after that.

Time to start working on convincing the wife that we have to go back soon!

Thanks Ron...very cool cake.

I leave for San Diego tomorrow at 6am! AHHhhhhhh. What was I thinking? I'll only be there for 5 days though. Then no travel for me (hopefully) until March.

Ron, I was wondering where you were! Hi! What do you do that causes you to travel so much?

Flip-flop! We were going to try to get together, but since I'm leaving for Grand Cayman on Wed. (headed to the airport Tues. evening to stay overnight for an early flight) it doesn't look like that's going to happen :( Bummer!!! I was going to try to get some of us Californians together with you. Maybe some of them can still meet you in S.D. if you have time :D

I am a Product Manager for a company that makes videoconferencing equipment. The irony is that our customers use our equipment to reduce travel  We recently bought a competitor and thier products fall into my responsibility. I am now traveling around the US and Canada teaching our account managers and sales engineers how to sell the newly acquired products (after I spent the last 18 months teaching them how to sell against those same products  )

Cute Cake! I used to decorate cakes and have made many types and shapes for mostly Birthday parties.

I also was wondering where you were, Ron.

Oh no CaGirl. That's sucks. I was hoping to meet up with you but just couldn't pull it together in advance enough to figure out what was what. I just packed last night. Left DC this morning at 6, due to terrible fog we didn't actually land in San Diego (after a diversion for refueling to Ontario, California not Canada) at ALMOST 2 this afternoon. Took me 12 hours door to door.

I can't believe the weather here is so foggy and cool. I was SO looking forward to warm, sunny southern CA. They tell me it will soon come.

I'll be here through Thursday and have most evenings open if you happen to have time! Otherwise, next time!
