Well, I just finished reading Keep Left the Open Air Asylum Called St. John by Mike Mullen.
I highly recommend this book. It was great, a really fast read and I enjoyed it a lot. Mike did a good job of making you laugh at all the craziness he went through while building his villa on St. John. I think if I had gone through what he did, I would have ran home screaming and probably would have been locked up. And he wants to do it again....Mike you are crazy! Jay is going to read it next and I know he'll love it. Being a contractor, he will really get a kick out of some of Mike's exploits.
Mike, if you're reading this, great job! And we can't wait to meet you once we get on island.

Thank you for the great book review I am currently on St. John/Thomas putting it in the stores Ruth's Spice and Big Fish on St. John and Dockside Book Store Havensight on St. Thomas. The owner of the Beach Bar is letting me set up a table on Sundays to sell it. Unfortunately, got rained out this past week but know I will be there this next Sunday (weather permitting). Am staying at the Mafolia Hotel on St. Thomas and while at the bar someone found out I wrote Keep Left and the next thing I know 20 copies were sold! An interview will appear in the Jan 14th St. John Tradewinds and hopefully in the Daily News a little after that date.
Am working with this website to place it as a masthead book and likely that will occur this month. Amazon and Borders will have it by the end of February. In the meantime as a "shameless" self promotor - for an autographed copy go to www.keepleftbook.com and I will get it right out in the mail. Thanks again for the very kind review words!
