Knolmom,
Hope you get back on your feet soon! I've been in rehab (uhh...physical therapy) and it's not much fun. Take care and have a happy new year!

I hope you are on the mend soon. May thoughts of St John inspire you to "push through the pain" of rehabilitation.
Going "home" again October 26th!

Knolmom,

So sorry to hear of your mishap and challenging recovery. I'm in PT myself right now & am facing a couple more surgeries (which is why I haven't posted a lot). I sure hope, and pray, that all goes very well for you.

It can be daunting looking ahead, but sometimes it helps to look back, and then use that as a springboard to looking WAY ahead!

I'm so happy you were able to do so many ACTIVE things while you were last on St. John. Just know that this too will pass, and you'll be able to have new adventures on St. John in the future.

UPDATE

Post by Gizzmo »

Just an FYI, I have not heard from KNOLMOM since her last post a week ago....(cut & paste from her)

I remeber your story. Had this happened on St John I amsure I would never walk again. I had 2 surgeries, pneumonia and a heart arrythmia just to get this far. And yes, the Reef Bay hike was great. So glad we did it as I will proabaly never get down that road again.

I am SURE I would have heard from her by now if she was OK.

Good thoughts and a prayer might be something to consider here.

Just an FYI, I received a PM from her on Saturday evening the 29th, so that was a little more recent than a week! Hope all is well and will continue keeping her in our prayers!
