Three Short Weeks

Post by captainjay »

Well I can't tell if time is speeding up or slowing down. When I look outside at the weather in the teens and the snow it feels like time is slowing down. When I look at the to do list and the calender with going away parties and birthday parties etc etc, (did I mention most of my friends are boaters and in the winter they will look for any reason to get together and have a party, the dance card is looking a little full for next few weeks.

Three weeks from today it will be wheels down in St Thomas one way. :D

As a wise man once said "be careful what you wish for".

Rick,
I sold the truck yesterday. I still have to deal with Deb's car. We aren't shipping a container. We rented our house here furnished and are looking at a couple options for furnished apartments/condos on St Thomas. We are going to ship several boxes via the mail and will likely take an extra suitcase or two and pay the fee when we fly down.

Captain and Mrs. Jay -

All my best to you as you approach take off for the next chapter in your lives. As Tom said, you're living the dream many of us have.

I wish it was only two weeks for you so we could meet up with you at the Beach Bar - we'll be there on the 19th!! Yippee! But we'll also be heading back to the cold and snow on the 26th..!

Safe travels and enjoy the many farewells and parties ahead.

I was so busy before I left to go home that I wasn't up-to-date on all your happenings. Had I known that you were leaving for good, I'd have told you to meet me at the Blue Gator while I was home. Ooops.

I guess next time we meet at Woody's. They don't have Gator bites, but conch will do.

I can't believe y'all are living the dream. I need to figure out how to do this myself...
