FORUMITE DOWN!

Post by Gizzmo »

I just found out that KNOLMOM is hurt!

(copy of recent pm)

Just after we returned I fell at work and broke my leg in 3 places. I have had 2 surgeries in the last 3 weeks and am now in a rehab hospital. Yesterday was the first opportunity I had to even get online, and you can guessjust where I went---to the USVI board.

Should be online every day now. It will helpto passthe time away as I will be off my leg for 12 weeks.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

EVERYBODY PM HER AND KEEP HER BUSY!

I was wondering why we hadn't heard from her after her trip. Wow, what a shame. I hope she's better every day.

Sorry to hear of your problem, Knolmom. I remember meeting you in New York with some of the AOL'ers. Also remember your accounts of your wedding on STJ. Hope that your rehabilitation goes well. Keep us posted on your recovery. Once you get better I'm sure the warmth of STJ will beckon. I find it to be a panacea for all ills.

Thats for all your well wishes--I am on the road to recovery now. Had such a great active vacation in St John. If you recall I was so looking forward to the Reef Bay Hike,( I am so proud of myself for completing this) Snorkeling at Waterlemon, the long walk to Solomon and enjoying all the stops on the Palma Bella with John.( I even left him a piece of my $ss and if prodded I am sure he will recall) While I didnt know at the time just why I was planning to see all of those out-of-the-way places on St John that we had not seen before I guess it is evident now. I really did a lot of damage with this break and can only hope to get well enough to visit my island paradise again without trying to experience the active or exotic side of things for a long while.
I will try everyday to stay active on this board, get the trip report and villa reviews completed, and maybe daydream about the perfect handicap-access villa for next year- at least. This is the only thing that will keep me from going nuts.
