I used to manage Morgan point and lived in the small bedroom downstairs for about a year.

It is a comfortable house with a killer view. It is in a great neighborhood with a few neighbors, Blue Tang is right next door, but not right on top of it.

It could use a little bit of updating, but it is not worn out by any means. The kitchen is dated (orange counters) looking but is not in bad shape and is very well equipped. There is a great hot tub and pool

The owner is a wonderful guy and it is a great house for the money.

I heard that it was updated. As X says it has a great view and the whole family is very nice.

Stayed there in, I think, July 2002. Still might be a review in the files.

Great views, especially for wife who liked watching the "wedding-of-the-day" on the Westin's beach.

Good exposure to tradewinds, so A/C not really needed.

Upper bedrooms were nice, but the lower one was iffy.

Nice deck but, at least in July, VERY hot in mid- to late-afternoon.

Area around the frig is somewhat cramped, when more than one person was going for items.

Hot tub was uncontrollably hot ... good enough for cooking lobsters. Hopefully, thats fixed by now.

None of my negatives would stop me from returning there. Good place for the price.

The lower "iffy" bedroom was my old apartment. Can you imagine living in that little room for a year??
I do have to say it was super quiet and the price was right!

Hi,

Which is the "iffy" bedroom? The website says 3 A/C Bedrooms, all with living room access - sounds like they are all on the same level? Is there another room hidden?

How do you define "iffy"? Needs TLC, better beds?

thanks,
janet

There was a small AC unit when I lived there but that was many years ago.

The view is just amazing. You get the harbor of Great Cruz Bay, the lights of STT and usually a great sunset.

The lower bedroom didn't look that nice when we stayed there. More like a storage closet.
