A few months ago. Not recently. I'm not sure if Kirk has the end of that or a new thing.
What is that "Airborne" stuff you're supposed to take before you fly? Does it work? Maybe everyone should take it coming and going!
Years ago the local pharmacist said he frequently had people who travelled to St. John who got sick 36-48 hours after being on an airplane. What's up with that? Why is it that we can put people on the moon, but we can't have germ-free air on an airplane?

Hi, all...I just returned from STJ and didn't hear or meet anyone with the flu during the past 10 days. I did, however, feel a little cold coming on around 3 days into the trip. It must have been jet lag (or perhaps a Painkiller hangover!!!) because it vanished the next day.
To answer Ruth's question (hi, Ruth! Great to meet you last week!), I have taken Airborne in the past, and it seems to work.

Hope you guys afflicted are on the mend. Two weeks of illness sounds like the pits
.
Kirk, I have a humorous picture of us at dinner at the Banana Deck when several of us went after The Beach Bar Get Together. The way I am draped on you smiling in that picture, forumites might think you were my husband instead of Gary
. BTW, like your haircut

Red Hook Clinic can test for different flu strains and I said on another post - my husband had strep and it knocked him out for a week. They were about to test him for dengue, but thankfully it wasn't that bad. Strep is bad enough.
Take your vitamins and definitely a C vitamin and/or Airborne or similar boost. Taking vitamins daily keeps your immune system up. (Darn, I sound like my grandma already and I am only 33!)
Get well soon!
