I have an easy request (I think) , can someone tell me where Chateau Bordeaux restaurant is, referring to photo below? Thanks!

Xislandgirl- You mean that place right in the intersection directly above the "B" in Bordeau?

Ok, got it, great thanks!

If you want to flag a couple of other villas up there the first one past the intersection on Bordeaux Mtn Road is Drakes View (terracotta roof.....look under the small "r"). The next villa is a new one called Bordeaux Breeze (between the "C" and "a"). Then the blue roof villa below the first "b" is Chateau Margot. The next one (white under "e") is Summer Wind and there is another house there now too but I don't think it's being rented and I believe the current name is Casa Bueno which is currently for sale.

I'm loving the ID of the villas that you are doing. It's very helpful to know exactly where these villas sit in relation to each other.

Thanks Ya'll, and I'll add the villas you mentioned to the villa locations file Dianna...

Oh yeah, I forgot that in Google Earth that group of villas is under a cloud...so I can approximate the locations until a new photo is used that is devoid of cloud cover (if that ever happens)...

Thanks RJ- I have actually had fun doing this and have learned along the way. I appreciate all the efforts from various individuals who have provided inputs and clarifications along the way!! My objectives were twofold- 1) map out stuff I want to know about the island, 2) Share it publicly on the internet so it helps lots of other folks too...mission accomplished! Cheers-

This is SO cool! Thank you!

Wouldn't it be great if owners of rental villas marked their villas on a map like this? Then you could easily tell proximity to water, to other houses, etc. The promo pictures tell part of the story, but the satellite photo shows a different perspective that you can't get from other photos.

Love the map with the beaches too!
