Yes I know another silly ferry question We usually take the CA ferry over but I'm wondering about service on a holiday. I don't want to sit there and then have the 3:30ish boat not show up and then have to hustle to Red Hook. any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.
I was pleasantly surprised when we went over to CA on Thanksgiving day that the ferry was still on the normal schedule. Not that I would have blamed them if it weren't!
I am so glad you asked. I am also arriving NY Day. We weren't sure about the schedule and I was just going to wing it. Maybe we will see you on the ferry.

Packed? Whats that? I've already sent a box down with all those liquid things that are over 3 ounces - sunscreen, shampoo, etc Seriously we pack very light - my backpack and a bag small enough to slide under the seat. I have my books, a couple of swimsuits, and snorkel gear. January 1 soon come
