Villa between Choc Hole & Great Cruz Bay

Post by Ryn »

Well we have been looking all day for villas. Found one in between Choc Hole and Great Cruz Bay. I'm a bit leary about it as it is open the entire month of March. Does anyone know if there is a lot of construction in this area or why it may be open? It's a brand new home, nice, etc....

I would ask the rental agent if there is construction in the area.

Just got back yesterday. Hibiscus Gardens is a very nice villa. Pictures on website are accurate. Wonderful landscaping area between parking above and front of villa. Very private and an easy drive. No immediate construction nearby. Some work being done across the bay. Work has begun on Pond Bay but nothing during our stay. A couple of things to be aware of. The view isn't tremendous (no sunrise or sunset) and it looks down at the Westin beach and ferry dock. This time of year the pool gets NO sun and let me tell you it was freezing. Actually getting in never crossed our minds. Because of these things we just weren't digging it. Lisa was kind enough to let us move to another villa after the first couple of days.

It depends on what you are looking for. The villa itself is top notch. Very well stocked and super clean. Check out the sun orientation in March if the pool is an issue for you. May not be a problem that time of year.

There was an old name on the stone pillar by the road. Couldn't make out what it said. Perhaps recently sold rather than brand new.
