It's been a pretty tough couple of weeks for me at work and the weather here in the Chicago area has been pretty nasty. Just want to thank Mary Beth and FlipFlop and all who have posted recent trip reports for getting me through it with the great narratives and pictures. I would sneak a peak whenever I could and be off with you on a mental vacation - it really helped a lot!

The trip reports get me through too.
Snow isn't too bad, but that freezing rain is the worst. It must really stink down by you guys in the traffic.
I still wish the snow was white sand.

Hey Margy,

Hope work lightens up a bit. Nothing worse than being crazy busy at work this time of year. I was like that last year - got paged 3 times during the RadioCity Music Spectacular and twice on Christmas morning - totally s*&^%d.

As for the crappy weather, we're getting the freezing rain later tonight. Thank You Chicago

Three cheers and ditto on the thanks for all the recent trip reports! Haven't even had time to read them all yet, but I take a look when I get a few minutes here and there. I love taking a little mental trip to STJ through your reports and pictures. I am a cold weather wimp, and its not even that bad here compared to those of you further north. Reading about STJ warms my insides!
