How about a silicone bahing cap? They come in great colors and they help you stay warm so you can stay in even longer. I teach swimming (in the water on average 8 hours a day) and it does the job well.
Hi Coden, yes, the bandana will stay on in the water. They key is to put it on after the bandana and your hair are wet--you can tie it tighter that way.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
I too have longer bangs and for the first couple of trips I tried a ponytail holder but it always seemed to get caught in my mask. I now us a buff (just like what the wear on Survivor) and it has never let me down. It dries in the sun in just a couple minutes and can be worn around town without looking completely idiotic! I found some great ones at www.sahalie.com. They are a little pricy but come it cool designs and have held up great in the salt water. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the info. I bought a cover for my mask strap and I have some clips that I am going to use for this trip. It that doesn't work out I'll just cut my hair. Ha!!
