That's a grand total of 15. IMHO, we need to get a firm count in the next week and get ready to book. The villas with the best reviews and best prices go fast, so we need to firm up our exact number and decide what will work. We can certainly add more if anyone wants to go and isn't sure there is room.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or opinions. I'm not in charge of this, I'm just sort of organizing and we will take a vote on any decisions
that need to be made. I hope yall don't think I'm being bossy. :(

Cypressgirl - I for one do not think you are bossy. I appreciate everything that you are doing!!

I can't book anything until after the 1st of the year though, I have way too much going on here right now.

Also, when we went last Dec, the agency we booked with took credit cards. Do all of them take cc's?

I agree with Coden. Check or CC is fine by me.

I found that if you send in your deposits seperately they don't want to deal with that many credit cards. But I don't think most take credit cards anyway.

Coden, I'm sure it will take that long to narrow down a choice and even if we decide on one before then, I'm sure we can work something out. No problemo.

Sounds great!!

I've started an excel spreadsheet of our board names and real names, as I get them. I'm going to have a lot to remember! I'll send it around after we all start e-mailing one another.

Gotta go cut some spuds for potato soup - back later!

Hey Boss

We appreciate your trying to organize a bit.

To help people commit, we should nail down a date.

Based on the feedback (and starting with Sat - Sat), seems to be either the week of Halloween (October 25 - November 1) or November 8 - 15 (Coden does this work for you) or November 15 - 22. I assume we don't want to travel during Thanksgiving week nor earlier than Halloween.

If folks want to PM or email me, I'll gladly get this part going. If some decide to stay a day or 2 extra, we can deal with that later. And for anyone that is still deciding, the date may help them decide.

I am going to have to go on the maybe possibly not list. I was told this afternoon that we are closing our building and moving to our corporate offices in November. This will mean that the entire month of October will be spent getting ready and November will be spent moving in. I am the facilities coordinator so I know that I will be living at work.

As we all know with corporate America- things change daily and deadlines get moved further and further away, but I can not risk booking the trip and not be able to go.

That's a bummer. Maybe things will get pushed back and you can go with some others that may not be able to commit until much later.

Sorry X. Fingers crossed that something works out. If not 08, maybe 09? Either way, good luck and best wishes.

Oh, I am in for 09 and I am praying that the new building construction hits a road block or goes full speed ahead and we move earlier.

Xislandgirl - Noooooooooooooooooo :D I too hope the construction slows waaaaaaaaay down. Hang in there!!

Jayseadee - any of those dates work for me. Probably the Oct 25th date and the Nov 22 dates work best, but the Nov 8th date is doable.

Islandgirl - that is great news. You'll have to come party with us!!

I don't know if either of these have been mentioned yet, but here a couple more villas to check out: Oceana throught Vacation Vistas or Seagate through Catered To. Oceana looks pretty awesome and only a little pricier, but does have that 6th bedroom. Seagate is a little less expensive, but only has 5 bedrooms, and is a little more casual. Both have pools. Is it next year yet? Ali~
